An online electric typewriter (flexowriter) which puts a 6-bit character code into the live register (in-out register) when a key is depressed; and types or punches 6-bit character data from the accumulator under program control. 10 characters / sec rate.

An online paper tape reader (300 characters / sec) which transfers the coded contents of punched tape into the accumulator.

==== Magnetic tape unit ====
An online magnetic tape unit which reads and writes on a 6 channel magnetic tape into and from the live register, under program control.

A cathode ray tube display for converting the contents of the AC into the position of an intensified spot.
